Erin and Steve met in 2018 through a local mountain bike training group. They became friends and starting hanging out with mutual friends after rides or at races for several months. At the time, one of Steve's best friends was a manager at Alamo, and Steve started showing up to out-of-town races in fancy sports cars, which definitely caught Erin's attention! Once, he even let her drive a Camaro! Fast forward a few more months, tired of waiting, Erin finally asked Steve to be her official date for a holiday dinner. Steve quickly followed suit and secured a date for New Year's Eve.

Erin and Steve share many common interests in addition to cycling including a love of nature and the outdoors, the ocean, travel, CrossFit, and a good dirty martini! In October 2023, on a bike trip in Vermont, Steve got down on one knee overlooking a lake in the full splendor of fall colors, and asked Erin to be his wife! The happy couple cannot wait to celebrate their marriage and love story with you this February in their hometown of Jupiter!
